We all like to wear rose-tinted glasses when viewing our future but it really hurts when it is too late and a different reality stands in front of us.
I see a change fast approaching me like the winter snow coming in a time too early, in a time too forlorn But do I really want it to fall To step into a different place Where a white carpet lies in place of vibrant green blades The glistening snow too bright for my inexperienced eyes Where the bare arms of the shivering oak have replaced it's once brown wings on my front porch
That was truly heartfelt which in turn made me feel it......I have no words for this. It was just touching.
